HIRO Media REVIEW
HIRO Media Quick Facts:
HIRO Media Review
HIRO Media's platform supports cross platform distribution and multiple methods of display for video advertisements. Streaming video, directly downloaded videos, peer-to-peer video display, mobile videos and more are supported.
All their ads
are suitable for videos and include, pre-roll, mid-roll,
post-roll, controllable TV-like commercial breaks and much more.
HIRO supports TV advertising practices and also utilizes a
sophisticated survey system to gather demographic stats from their
users. In the past, there has been some criticism
about HIRO's surveys.
HIRO's Videos ads pay per thousand impressions (CPM) but it is possible to use their services to show third-party ads and offers from other ad networks, thus opening the possibility to run CPC, CPA and other kind of campaigns through HIRO's platform.
As expected, advanced web skills are required to use HIRO's services in order to monetize your videos. Their support team is there to help you, but there is little documentation about technical details and their official website is rather poor.
Even though they mostly provide ad serving services, HIRO Media does present some interesting monetization routes, especially for video-rich websites and publishers who create their own videos. Their TV-like advertising practices can prove lucrative for video bloggers and companies that broadcast online.
